Additive Manufacturing service and Windform materials for US

The Laser Sintering (LS) market has grown and so has CRP business. The Italian based group, a leader in LS technology and well-known for their Additive Manufacturing materials called Windform, has equipped, CRP USA, with a new laser sintering manufacturing machine. The aim of the company is to strengthen their US presence by providing the market a state-of-the-art Additive Manufacturing service through the use of their Windform materials. Windform is a leading high performance material for Laser Sintering machines.
CRP USA with their headquarters in Mooresville, NC was created to focus on developing stockcar components such as uprights (spindles) for Nascar series and this has been carried out this for more than two years.
With new projects and new developing perspectives in the field of AM, the decision was made to start the production of LS parts to serve the US on site.
A 3D System Vanguard upgraded to CRP specifications has been purchased with the following specifications:
- 100 W Laser Power
- high Speed Laser Sintering
- intelligent thermal monitoring
- the latest temperature sensors
