WINDFORM PATENT APPLICATIONS

Our Company has been recently informed that certain manufacturers of powders for laser sintering are promoting and offering on the market, materials (nylon-12 powder  mixed with carbon fibers), substantially identical to our Windform XT product (hereinafter “the Windform Product”).

In view of this fact, we deem it  necessary to give hereinafter  some  information about the CRP’s proprietary rights on the Windform Product and the steps we have already taken (and we will further take in the near future) to properly protect such rights.
The main reason of this notice is   to make our clients sure, once again, that the hi-tech and exclusive Windform Product they have purchased from CRP will be strongly defended from any unlawful counterfeit.
At the same time, we want  to get our clients in a position to properly know  the rights of CRP concerning the Windform Product, so that they can avoid to be  unintentionally involved in any infringement  action we have  brought and/or will bring against the manufacturers, sellers and users of counterfeiting products.  

As a matter of fact, the Windform Product is properly claimed not only by the  Italian Patent Application No. MO2004A000227  filed on 9 September 2004, but also by the US Application N° 11/020,148 filed on 27 December 2004, and by the European Patent Application N° 04030428.9 filed on 22 December 2004 claiming the Convention Priority.
Such an European Application once published has obviously effect on all European Countries, in accordance  with the provisions of the national laws.
Other kinds of protection have been or will be applied for Country by Country, in the basis of the national laws  relating to the protection of intellectual property.
Considering that, as it obviously results from the above mentioned data, our patent applications have not yet been published, upon request, we will be glad to give our clients more detailed information about the same and/or copy of the relevant documents.

On the basis of our patent applications we have already brought legal actions in Court against manufacturers and distributors of presumed counterfeiting products in Italy. Other actions will be brought in the near future against other presumable infringers once the afore said European patent application has been published and granted.
In this connection we will be very grateful to our clients for their cooperation in our prosecuting any such counterfeit of our intellectual property rights on the Windform Product and, in particular, for  all information they may promptly give us about any offer or promotion of similar products.
